GOOEY CHOCOLATE-ALMOND FUDGE

Who said fudge could be nothing more than sugar, butter, and milk? This version is rich and chocolatey, packed with protein, and above all – entirely vegan friendly!
Gluten free, lactose free, vegan friendly.
Ingredients
½ cup | 100g Coconut Sugar
¾ cup | 200g Coconut Cream
3 tbsp | 50g Maple Syrup
1 tsp | 5ml Vanilla Essence
Pinch of Salt

¼ cup | 30g VORA Good Shape Protein – Genuine Chocolate
2 ½ tbsp | 25g Vegan milk or dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
¾ cup | 200g Almond Butter
1/3 cup | 30g Coconut Flakes, Toasted
Directions
Combine the sugar, coconut cream, maple syrup, vanilla essence and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook, stirring, until thickened and darker in colour, about 15 minutes.
Remove from the heat, then add the chopped chocolate and stir until it is completely melted. Stir in the almond butter and protein powder.
Transfer the mixture to a 15cm glass dish and smooth the top. Sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes, cover with plastic wrap and allow to set in the fridge overnight (3 hours minimum).
Once set, slice the fudge into bars and keep in an airtight container in the fridge.
